HIB GRADES EXPLANATION

Explanation and interpretation of the Anti-Bullying Bill of Rights Act School District Grade:

P.L. 2010, c.122 requires that school districts within the state of New Jersey annually self-assess their efforts to implement the provisions of the Anti-Bullying Bill of Rights Act. This self-assessment is an averaged number from every school within the district and appears both on the school report card and on the districts’ website.

The maximum score for a district/school is 78 points. It is important to note that this score is not to be interpreted as a letter grade. For additional information and/or questions regarding this process, please contact the District’s Anti-Bullying Coordinator, Gerri Turner.
